The Fat City Four

fat city four

During its early years, Stockton was known by several names, including "Mudville," "Tuleburg," and "Fat City." In 2009, four Portsmen came together to sing the National Anthem at a few events. After having a great time, making good music and enjoying the experience, they registered with the Barbershop Harmony Society as "Fat City Four" to give honor to their Hometown.

In February 2011, they entered the Novice contest in Ripon, CA, competing on stage for the first time. In May 2011, they were invited to serve as the Mic Testers at the Northeast Division Contest in Modesto.

The Fat City Four continues to enjoy performing at events all over the Central Valley; such as the Stockton Portsmen's annual show, the Anthem at sporting events, Christmas carols around town, etc.

Josh, Marshall, Craig and John are committed to becoming better singers and performers - Their efforts landed them the 2012 Novice Quartet Champion title in February 2012.

Fat City Four enjoy performing at events and shows all over the Central Valley: ballgames, community events, and singing Christmas carols around town.

If you'd like them to sing at your community, corporate or private party or event contact them, via e-mail at info@FatCityFour.com or call Craig Vincent (209) 609-6730.

TuneStruck has been together since 2003, when they formed to serve as a Step out quartet for the Stockton Chapter's Annual Show. Since then they have gone on to win the Northern California-East/Northern Nevada Novice Quartet Crown twice (in 2005 and 2008), and have appeared annually on the Stockton Chapter's Shows.

They have also been seen on the Sacramento Chapter and Sutter Creek Chapter Shows, the Stockton Asparagus Festival, the Grand Re-Opening of the Isleton Building, and were featured in July/August of 2007 as the School Board in Delta College's production of the Music Man.

They are available throughout the Central Valley for any type of performance.

The Forget-Me-Notes

forget-me-notes

The Forget-Me-Notes (formerly known as the Mallwalkers) have been together since...the invention of dirt? These great guys are the founders of the Portsmen, a couple having been around since it's inception. They don't get enough singing at the local chapter meeting so they get together and sing on their own, polishing up chapter songs and working on their own special numbers. These guys sing at a lot of local events, but you'll see them most often at Sherwood Mall. They meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 to 10AM. If you stop by, they will be happy to sing with you.
